RESIDENTIAL SUPPORTSYLVAN AVENUE PROGRAM
An Alternative to Group Living
This program provides 24-hour on-site staff support to clients in need of an alternative to congregate living, i.e. supervised apartment rather than a traditional group home. Programming specializes in supported housing to individuals who are DMHAS eligible and diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) and include individualized service planning, life skill training, case management, and socialization. Staff provide individualized day programming on-site for individuals who are not yet ready to enter vocational programming in the community. Fully furnished apartments are provided with private bedrooms and shared kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
